Frances A. Shepherd, has been appointed as an Officer of the Order of Canada for her leadership in improving treatment options and outcomes for individuals with advanced lung cancer. Dr. Shepherd is Senior Staff Physician at The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Toronto, Canada, where she holds the Scott Taylor Chair in Lung Cancer Research. She is Full Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto.
