Charles B. Simone II has been appointed the Medical Director of the Maryland Proton Treatment Center (MPTC). Previous to this appointment, Dr. Simone was Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Chief of the Thoracic Oncology Service, and Co-Director of the Penn Mesothelioma and Pleural Program at the University of Pennsylvania Health System, Pennsylvania, US.
