Professor Jean-Yves Douillard has been appointed the first Chief Medical Officer of the European Society of Medical Oncology. Prof. Douillard was previously Professor of Medical Oncology at the Integrated Centres of Oncology R. Gauducheau and University of Nantes Medical School, France, where from 2009–2011, he was Director of Clinical and Translational Research.
