As an IASLC member, if you’ve ever wished for more ways to interact with your fellow thoracic oncologists, the wait is over. IASLC has launched Thoracic Circle, a one-of-a-kind virtual network, created as a member-focused space for collaboration and progress in lung cancer care.

Launched ahead of the 2025 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC), the platform opened its digital doors to expand the discussion beyond the convention floor. Members have already started signing in, setting up profiles, and introducing themselves in the social thread.

The interface makes it simple to switch between tabs, manage notifications, view member profiles, and keep the conversation going no matter where you are. Plus, language is no barrier. With built-in translation, you can post in your native language and still communicate seamlessly with colleagues around the globe.

Inside the Thoracic Circle, you’ll find:

  • Membership directory: search members by specialty, location, or interest
  • Discussion forums: ask questions, share ideas, and collaborate with peers
  • Groups: join communities that align with your field or focus area
  • Networking: connect with others in a membership-only network designed for you

Early conversations within the network’s social threads prove the energy and excitement of this newest space. That enthusiasm is echoed by IASLC leadership and early members alike.

“I am thrilled to welcome you to IASLC’s global community platform: Thoracic Circle. We created this versatile communication space with our members in mind. Please check it out and let me know what you think.” IASLC CEO, Karen Kelly, MD, wrote at its launch.

“Very happy to connect here and looking forward to exploring all the potential of this new Circle!” added Helena Linardou, a medical oncologist from Athens, Greece.

Thoracic Circle is part of IASLC’s global mission to ensure optimal prevention and patient care through collaborative science, education, and advocacy. Be sure to get involved—join a group, participate in discussions, and connect with experts from every region.

Your global network is waiting. Join the circle today.
