Waun Ki Hong received the 10th AACR Margaret Foti Award for Leadership and Extraordinary Achievements in Cancer Research and the 2016 ASCO Special Recognition Award, which honors an individual whose research and innovations have had a transforming and lasting effect in the areas of clinical oncology, cancer research, clinical trials, or patient advocacy activities. Dr. Hong is Professor of Medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, US.
