Anton Berns was elected to the National Academy of Sciences (NAS). NAS membership is in recognition of distinguished and continuing achievements in original research. Dr. Berns is the Senior Group Leader of the Division of Molecular Genetics at the Netherlands Cancer Institute, Amsterdam, and is a former director of the NKI.
