Carolyn M. Dresler, MD, MPA, is the recipient of the 2017 IASLC Joseph W. Cullen Prevention/Early Detection Award. Dr. Dresler is currently the Associate Director for Medical & Health Sciences, Center for Tobacco Products, US Food & Drug Administration (FDA), a position she has held since 2012. As an IASLC Board member (2011-2015), Dr. Dresler helped the IASLC to establish the Tobacco Control and Smoking Cessation Committee and served as a member of the Committee.
