Four multidisciplinary cancer care teams have been honored with one of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer’s highest accolades: the IASLC Cancer Care Team Award (CCTA).
Presented annually, the CCTA celebrates outstanding care teams from four global regions: North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia/Rest of the World. Each team is recognized for delivering exceptional care to patients with lung cancer and thoracic malignancies.
Nominations are submitted worldwide by patients, their loved ones, and caregivers/partners. The selected teams are recognized for exemplary attributes such as empathy, clear communication, shared decision-making, patient support, accessibility, and educational resources.
