Abstract submission deadline extended for 2022 Asia Conference on Lung Cancer
The abstract submission deadline for the IASLC 2022 Asia Conference on Lung Cancer has been extended until June 24, 2022, at 23:59 Pacific time.
Share your research at ACLC, which will take place October 27-29, 2022, in Nara, Japan.
Abstracts can be submitted under any one of the following categories:
- Advanced/Metastatic NSCLC
- IO
- Targeted Therapy
- Cytotoxic
- Diagnosis, Imaging and Bronchoscopy
- SCLC, Mesothelioma, Thymoma
- Locally Advanced NSCLC
- Early-Stage NSCLC
- Translational Science, Pathology and Basic Science
- Palliative and Supportive Care
- Risk Reduction, Early Detection, Epidemiology and Tobacco Control
Notifications of acceptance will be sent July 18, 2022. Presenting authors need to register for the conference by August 25, 2022. More information and abstract submission guidelines can be found here.
IASLC partners with Chinese oncology, lung cancer groups for annual joint WCLC session
The International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, the Chinese Society for Clinical Oncology, and the Chinese Alliance Against Lung Cancer have a long history of presenting outstanding educational and cutting-edge research during their annual collaborative joint session at the World Conference on Lung Cancer, which this year will take place August 6-9, 2022, in Vienna, Austria.
This year’s joint session, Liquid Biopsy in Oncogene-Driven NSCLC, will include oral abstract presentations and discussion of 10 posters based on research performed by our colleagues from China.
This session will be available virtually beginning August 6, 2022.
Vaccines, masks will be required during WCLC 2022
To minimize risks to the health and safety of all those who attend WCLC, the following measures will be in place and enforced onsite and will apply to all staff, delegates, exhibitors, sponsors, and guests.
Vaccination: All in-person attendees of WCLC 2022 must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by the time of the meeting. All registered attendees will be asked to upload proof of full vaccination prior to their arrival in Vienna and will be asked to present proof of full vaccination and photo ID with matching name prior to entry into the conference venue. Masks: Per current guidelines, masks will be required to be worn at all times in all WCLC 2022 session rooms and at networking events. Masks may only be removed when eating, drinking, or taking medication.
Illness protocol: When registering, WCLC attendees agree to not attend if they have any COVID-19 symptoms. If an attendee develops any COVID-19 symptoms during the conference, they will immediately:
- Self-isolate.
- Comply with all local and national government restrictions.
- Inform the WCLC 2022 Conference Secretariat by email.
