Go2 Foundation Supports Lung Cancer Awareness Month Events Across the United States
The Go2 Foundation for Lung Cancer’s Shine A Light on Lung Cancer program is the largest coordinated lung cancer awareness effort in the United States, according to the organization. Throughout November, more than 150 healthcare facilities across the country will raise awareness about lung cancer through educational events and activities celebrating the lung cancer community.

Abstract Submission Open for 2023 European Lung Cancer Congress
Abstract submission for the European Lung Cancer Congress (ELCC), taking place from March 29 to April 1, 2023, in Copenhagen, Denmark, is now open. The deadline to submit abstracts, trials in progress, and intent to submit late-breaking abstracts is January 17 at 21:00 Central European Time. The deadline for late-breaking abstracts is March 1 at 21:00 Central European Time.
The ELCC accepts abstract submissions from the following categories:
- Tumor biology and pathology
- Translational research
- Prevention, early detection, epidemiology, tobacco control
- Imaging and staging
- Small cell lung cancer
- Early-stage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)
- Locally advanced NSCLC
- Advanced NSCLC
- Metastases to and from the lung
- Mesothelioma
- General interest
1st Annual Texas Lung Cancer Conference Earns IASLC Endorsement
The 1st Annual Texas Lung Cancer Conference will take place March 30 to April 1, 2023, in Austin, Texas. This 2-day CME conference focuses on what a thoracic oncologist needs to know to provide up-to-date care for lung cancer patients.
